Working Professionals Pet Care!!

Working Professionals Pet Care is an Initiative that I would like to start with the Only Intention – “Create a Working Professionals Pet Group Care-2-Care community”

 

 

All Pet Parents will have gone through a Difficult phase few or many times, when we all have to Board our Pets at various Kennels/Boarding Places. What we experience during the Identification of a Kennel/Boarding place, can be described as one of the most difficult, confusing, anxious & mostly emotional affair which we all have to go through often. Few for some & Many for others…

Few of the issues are listed below, but not limited to:

• Facilities/Conditions of the Kennel – Most of the kennels don’t even have the basic sanitary or basic facilities. There is nothing much that we can do to improve the conditions & ultimately, we pick to choose the least Unsatisfactory Option at hands.
• Pet Treatment – Almost most of the times, we are not comfortable with the way our Pet’s are being treated during their stay. If only  Pets can talk, would have mouthful to share. I personally had a few horrible experiences with Kennels in NCR and other parts of the country.
• Food Quality – Food is another major concern that our Pets have to go through while staying at the Kennel/Boarding places. Most of the time we leave Pets with marketable food products, we do leave the instructions on how to provide the food (how our pet is generally accustomed at home, but still you still have a feeling of uncertainty about how they are being fed.
• Distance – Distance is another Variable that we have to face, while driving our pets to the Kennel.
• Cost – One of the biggest Variable is Cost, and the Rates of Boarding fluctuate every time we have to board. They have different rates during summers & winters. During the time of boarding some of the big names do they have their own mandatory criteria s before the admission process can begin as in Mandatory Shampoo/Pet Cleaning, even if you have got it done few days back etc..Though some of these do sounds reasonable sometimes but others can be given a skip, but you still have to follow them.
• Festival Rush – This is another trouble we face but, at the end we have to stick with the same kennel to board even if we like them or not!! We simply don’t have any choice.
• And still many more can be written or listed.

Now after listing the Issues that all of us go through, I do intend to form a Community to take care of each others Pets, & here are my thoughts!!

• Form a Community of Folks – Lets use My Facebook Page/My Site to form a Group. I have created a Page Dedicated to all of us, where we can all share our thoughts and get a single platform to talk.
• Nearest Community Member (NCM) – Once we have a Group, we can identify the Nearest Community Member (NCM), as per our locations.
• Meet & Greet – Post identifying the NCM, we shall intend to Meet & Greet the members, get to know each other. Let our Pets meet and get used to each other.
• Share Travel Trips – We then share our Travel plans with Community Group and can have our PETS in the Love & Affection of the other Pet Parent.
• Guidelines – We can always draw some guidelines on the Limit of Travel Days/Number of Pets that can be kept/Back Up Plan in case of any Urgency with NCM.
• Pick A Straw – We can always use the Old & Gold Thing – Pick A Straw – In case if the NCM’s have conflicting plans of travel, we can try to check with other NCM, else use the same old Trick Pick A Straw.
• You can All join and share Your Suggestions as we Form Our Group!!!
